Your layout has potential. The healthy lush mass of Hydrocotyle sp. 'Japan' is a clear indication of well-understood emergent plant husbandry especially with a species that prefers higher humidity.

But my read on the composition is that if feels like several puzzle pieces that are beautiful in isolation but don't quite work together. Also a friendly reminder to remove visible hardware from your tank so that it doesn't distract from all the beautiful plants you're growing.

I hope this helps and I look forward to what you submit next year!

Lush and good use of the natural growth of each plant to enhance the overall arrangement. Almost a little too overgrown look however.

What a lovely riot of plants! And I love the way you have staged your entry by the antique typewriter! Nice touch! If anything your display has run riot a bit and could use a but of trimming back. It has lost its shape and become a bit of a jungle shading the water area pretty completely. Maybe that was your intention but something to consider!
