I love the rocky background on this tank! I think this tank probably is a few weeks short of "peak"... The foreground plants have not quite covered the substrate yet in many places. I also would prefer not quite such a mixture of plants in the foreground. The exhibitor has made a good attempt at the bright sweeping splash of color I like to see but I would have preferred that the tank was not quite so markedly "split down the middle" in terms of plant arrangement.

Background Home made styrofoam wall.
Lighting 290 watts of philips bulbs. 3 x philips 650 and 2 x 965.
Filtration Filter made in the back corner of the styrofoam wall, driven by a Eheim power filter.
Plants Myriophyllum tuberculatum, Limnophila sessiflora,
Glossostigma elatinoides, Rotala rotundfolia, Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, Lilaeopsis spec" Mauritius", Eichornia diversifolia, Hygrophila corymbosa, Hygrophila "synnema", Rotala wallichii, Limnophila aromatica, Cryptocoryne becketti, Eustralis stellata, Didiplis diandra, Althernanthera reineckii, Anubias nana, Echinodorus tennelus, Lysmachia sp, Javafern and Hygrophila strichta.
Animals 2 red turquise Discus, 2 Hypancistrus "zebra", 1 Clownloach, 1 Labeo bicholor, 10 Kardinal neons, 1 SAE, 2 Ancistrus sp, Rainbowfish, 4 Gobin sp, 3 Apistogramma macmasteri and 2 Apistogramma sp "breitbinden"
Materials 1 bogwood with Anubias nana.
Additional Information Substrate made of clay and bark, covered with 2-3 mm dark gravel. Liquid fertilization: Tropica Master grow.
