As with other classes in this contest there are two areas where entrants can easily improve their scores. Those areas are water clarity and hiding or removing equipment before photographing the tank.

The artificial category was another hotly-debated topic amongst the organizers; what exactly was meant by artificial---only tanks with plastic plants? Tanks that were deliberately supposed to look unusual or out-of-place? Or just tanks that weren't necessarily an aquatic garden. As you'll see by browsing the four entries we received entries with all of these interpretations.
