Unfortunately the execution is lacking.
By having the various rocks on the two opposing islands (?)lean away from each other they become disconnected isolated.
If they leaned toward the others across the open path (?) there would immediately be a dramatic tension between the two areas. Both islands would be part of the whole.
As it is now the viewer's eye is locked on the right side with no particular reason to look left.
The fact that the fish do not fit the scale of the aquascape is a detraction.
