#151: 110L Aquatic Garden

Robert Yueng Chung Lau Honolulu, United States

Very pretty tank. Your Glossostigma is certainly thick and healthy. However your Rotala macrandra is a bit leggy looking. I wonder if it is getting enough light over in the corner. You should stick with a larger school of either the cardinals or the rasboras. 5 is really not enough to keep the cardinals happy and 2 rasboras is way too few. Both species will be healthier happier and show better in a larger school.

An effective and simple design with good use of well maintained stem plants. Perhaps the glosso could have been pruned a little more towards the front of the layout to create further depth. Some more transistion from the glosso to the stems would improve the look too. Good effort!

A very healthy colorful display.
Keep in mind that there should be no sign of tank equipment in contest photos.
