Your land area is lovely (though I could do without the little statue). However you missed an important part of the criteria for the contest: "Both (land and water areas) MUST be a well developed and well planted part of the whole design." Your water area has no plants at all. So as nice as your land area is the enclosure as a whole has to be marked way down. Please think about this when you plan your entry for next year and you will do much better!

I love the Totoro figures; they add a little whimsy to the system. Adding some aquatic plants would help tie both sections together and give visual balance. Something as simple as Cryptocoryne Anubias or a small Nymphoides would go a long way.
