Additional Information The name “River by You” comes from the plant Potamogeton, featured prominently. The Greek roots of the name mean “River Neighbor.”

Driftwood in river layouts is pretty standard, but in Amano-Gawa I wanted to focus on illustrating the flow with the plants themselves— but I still love driftwood in rivers! This is the alternative version using all the alternative design and planting ideas I didn’t get to use in Amano-Gawa— still focuses on flow and Japanese plants, such as the River Neighbor.
