Comments

While the materials may have been taken from the target biotope they have been so "artistically" arranged that this no longer to me resembles a wild biotope. If this ACTUALLY resembles the makers target biotope it would have been nice to see a photo of the natural biotope for us to see that. Lush green algae like this without an accumulation of detritus does not typically grow in a shaded overgrown location with little water flow.

Materials All the elements used in my aquarium, including branches, fallen leaves, small gravel etc., were derived from natural collection. I chose white fine sand as the substrates that is consistent with the habitat. I placed a whole piece of roots at the golden point as the main character of the entire aquarium, with a lot of thin roots placed around it, and finer branches and roots in the back. A floating platform was built on the surface with branches and fallen leaves in front of the aquarium.
The sunlight slanted into the aquarium from the gap between the platform and the main root. Under this sunlight slanted area, I decorated the vegetation with green algae. Beside it, I place some small leaves on top of the white fine sand. There is a large amount of shelter in the main root area, which can be used for fish to play and hide to protect themselves. As time goes by, the leaves and roots will slowly rot and disappear after a few months, which is a microcosm of the ecological cycle of nature.
Additional Information Aquarium water looks clear. The aquarium is kept at room temperature at about 24-26°C at this time of year. The parameters of the water are 7.5 pH and 8.0 GH. These pH and GH values are reached thanks to the use of the same substrate of the aquatic system.
