Interesting piece of wood. This is a good start to the Wabi-Kusa but more varieties of stem plants with more color and contrast in texture is needed. The hairgrass also needs attention as it does not look healthy.

I like the wood and the angle of the wood to look like an old stump. However using a plant at the top of the two points on the wood is very distracting and doesn't add to the old character of the wood (which makes you think of bonsai). The rocks in the water area are also very lined up - similar size and shape - which does not look natural.
