#822: 86L Dutch Aquascape Little England - Tally

Comments

Also too much red plants; Dutch Style mainly focusses on strong contrasts between the plants in colour leaf shape size and height.
— Marco Aukes
Beautiful and healthy! But it's not true Dutch style. Too many species especially red stems. Not enough large-leaf rosettes dark mosses and tall grasses. Hide or remove equipment and CO2 spray. Foreground looks jumbled and lacks definition. The bright green Syngonanthus in the center draws the eye strongly and would have been better placed where the Rotala indica is. A 60 cm (24 inch) tank should have no more than 6 to 8 species. Photographs should ideally be taken within a day or two - there is too much growth and species variance between the photographs.
