#789: 182L Dutch Aquascape Dutch Fusion

Leonid Angelevych Haifa, Israel

It is not allowed but I would give 50 bonus points for the section on the top; love it!

But for the Dutch Style we have to focus on what is in the water. And even there it ticks a lot of boxes! Very well done with good contrasts nice groups of healthy plants and very good limitation in amount of species of plants.

I would have loved to see a bit more height of the group of P. erectus on the back right side of the tank just to avoid all three groups of background plants being at the same height.

This tank has a few key elements of Dutch style - grasses contrast in colors correct number of species contrast in leaf shape and size and an appropriate amount of reds.

However the plant groups are in need of trimming and the background plants are of equal height and width - they need variation too. I find the crown of floating plants very distracting.
