Additional Information The aim was to create a regionally inspired aquascape in this case the region of kachin Myanmmar where the main fauna (brachydanio tinwini) comes from. I tried to recreate a kachin region inspired habitat that blurs the lines of (a mostly) aquatic and terrestrial environments utilizing the principles of aquascaping and taping into elements of both nature aquarium and diorama presentarion. Using mainly flora and fauna from the region and nearby regions. I believe theres a synergy of sorts when regionally specific elements congregate into an artistic (colors/proportions) and scientific (water parameters etc) expression. As this is not strictly biotope, complimentary flora such as micranthemum tweediei and hemianthus callitrichoides were also introduced to help enhance the overall impression, scale and flow of the scape.
