#350: 0.5L Wabi-Kusa Peaceful Mind

Overall I like the variety of leaf shapes and sizes. I question whether the H. verticillata belongs at that height however because I find it a little distracting and out of scale. Maybe that could be positioned lower and an alternative plant positioned to be upright.

This is simply just a very well-composed and executed wabi kusa. All plants are healthy and grown with care and allowed to become dense giving a sense of age. The wabi kusa appears untamed as species compete for space across the surface of the substrate ball.

The incorporate of subtle hardscape elements only enhances this wabi kusa along with fine details like the addition of moss to the driftwood furthering the impression of passing time.

The ceramic used does not detract from the display nor does it compete with it for attention. Instead both the wabi kusa and its container harmonize well.

A beautiful example of a wabi kusa.
