Plants Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo', Rotala sp., Cryptocoryne sp., Bucephalandra sp., Vesicularia sp., Salvinia minima, Limnobium laevigatum
The wabi kusa comprised of healthy high-humidity plants commands its success from a restricted plant palette that highlights vast patches of M. 'Monte Carlo' or solitary Bucephalandra.
The display as an entire set is unobtrusive. The lack of substrate in the base of the bowl does allow for free-growing submerged moss and roots to be seen intertangling among those of the Salvinia. This does not detract nor benefit the display as a whole.
Well-executed. Great work.
