#695: 2L Wabi-Kusa Suket Bowl

Comments

Pretty little Wabi-Kusa with a healthy mix of various types of plants. Unfortunately the Hydrocotyle is a bit overpowering in such a small design and would have been better replaced by tripartita. Good job!

Good use of azolla - gives great texture without using moss - and provides a lot of foreground detail which adds to the scale of the creation.

This is a pleasing little Wabi-Kusa that is true to the spirit of the art form. It is simple but beautifully executed. A little more graceful less "chunky" piece of wood might have help it even a bit more.
