It is a daring undertaking to convert a concept that has long been an integral part of pop culture into an aquascape design - an undertaking where many have failed.
It is a great pleasure for me to see with what dedication and with what success you have made your work.
The focal point of this design is of course the big wave that threatens to collapse over the floods. And indeed this part is in the middle of all four focal points.
A dramatic picture.
I allowed myself to mirror your work left to right and it's amazing how close you got to the original.
A special depth effect is missing. At the original painting largely as well and I'm glad you didn't include Mt. Fuji.
For me this is the most innovative and creative design of the AGA 2022 and I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart!
This job remembered me the Katsushika Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa".
I don't know if this aquascape was inspired by this but anyway the result took me to the sea.
The great wave and the small ripples are perfect!
Good details correct use of shadows and good proportion.
Despite that we can see many layers of elements in the aquascape the overall layout looks without a proper sense of depth maybe because the of the flat foreground or the lack of tall plants in the layout skyline.
But my friend... I loved this layout!!!
Congratulations!!!
